Dec. 2007 Searches Dec. 7 & 8, 2007 Upper Teardrop Fremont Rescue members were called out to look for an overdue hunter.
Dec. 22 & 23, 2007 Moose Creek/Black Canyon Trail Fremont Rescue was called out for 3 separate incidents. 1- They were called to help Island Park Ambulance pack an injured snowmobiler out of a canyon. Upon arrival, the man had already found his way to Elk Creek Station. 2- During the first incident, the party had sent a boy out to cancel the ambulance, but he didn't make it to his destination, becoming lost in the area. 3 -While the attendant at Elk Creek reported that the injured man had arrived, he also informed us of another overdue party of three, who were riding sleds near Moose Creek. It took approximately four hours to recover these gentlemen. (Simultaneously, another incident arose out on the desert west of St. Anthony. While the prior searches were being handled, this incident resolved itself.)
Dec. 24 & 25, 2007 Madison County Assist 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house not a creature was stirring, until Fremont Rescue's beepers went off to assist in a search for 3 men snowmobiling around Garnes in Madison County.
Dec. 27, 2007 Black Canyon Fremont Rescue was called out when some snowmobilers were stuck in Black Canyon.
Dec. 28, 2007 Black Canyon Fremont Rescue was called out when some snowmobilers were stuck in Black Canyon.
Dec. 31, 2007-Jan 1, 2008 Madison County Assist Fremont Rescue members spent their New Year celebration looking for some lost snowmobilers in Madison County. They were able to return home around 5 a.m.
