Dec. 22 & 23, 2007                Moose Creek/Black Canyon Trail

Fremont Rescue was called out for 3 separate incidents.

1- They were called to help Island Park Ambulance pack an injured snowmobiler out of a canyon. Upon arrival, the man had already found his way to Elk Creek Station.

2- During the first incident, the party had sent a boy out to cancel the ambulance, but he didn't make it to his destination, becoming lost in the area.

3 -While the attendant at Elk Creek reported that the injured man had arrived, he also informed us of another overdue party of three, who were riding sleds near Moose Creek.

It took approximately four hours to recover these gentlemen.

(Simultaneously, another incident arose out on the desert west of St. Anthony. While the prior searches were being handled, this incident resolved itself.)
