Friday afternoon, Fremont County Search and Rescue responded to a report of an attempted infant abduction. A mother started her car and loaded one of her 4-month-old twin boys into the vehicle's car seat. She went into the home to grab the other infant. When she emerged from her home, she saw a man trying to leave with her baby.

She yelled at the man, who promptly ran away.

For several hours, dozens of officers from the St. Anthony police department, the Fremont County Sheriff's Office, and Fremont Rescue drove ATV's up and down the streets, as well as went door to door, looking for the man. A helicopter was brought in and a K-9 unit tracked the suspects scent.

A large multi-county search entailed. A suspect was later arrested in Bonneville county at about 10pm.
