Oct. 28, 2006 Sadoras Hill Fourteen Fremont County Search and Rescue members went looking for a sixteen year old boy who was separated from his party while deer hunting. After realizing he was lost, he contacted the sheriff's office using his cell phone. Search Members made contact with him just as his battery went dead, for his approximate location. 6 members headed out on foot and established contact by firing shots in the air. After 3 1/2 hours, and 3 miles of hiking through steep terrain, the youth was located and returned back to his parents. The rescue members also assisted in retrieving one of the parties deer out of the woods.
